Job Title: Crewing Manager
Reporting To: Operations Director
Location: Aberdeen, Scotland

As a Crewing Manager, you will play a key role in managing offshore personnel, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining compliance with maritime industry standards.
Based in Aberdeen, you’ll lead a team of experienced crewing coordinators and contribute to building a scalable global crewing function. This role involves strategic collaboration with staffing agencies, optimizing crew rotations, and ensuring regulatory compliance, including IMCA, STCW and MLC 2006 standards.

What you’ll do in your first year:
- In your first 90 days, build strong relationships with agency partners, operational teams, and crew coordinators while establishing efficient crew placement systems.
- By six months, implement scalable crewing processes to support our growing global operations.
- By the end of your first year, ensure a robust offshore talent pool, compliance with regulatory standards, and crew well-being initiatives.
Objectives & Responsibilities:

- Manage crew scheduling, deployment, and rotations to ensure efficient operations and compliance with certifications.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on offshore recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Oversee crew welfare, providing resources for mental health and regular feedback mechanisms.
- Lead budget management efforts, ensuring cost efficiency in staffing and logistics.
- Build and maintain relationships with agencies, training providers, and stakeholders to meet operational goals.
- Implement and monitor competency and training frameworks for offshore personnel.

- Proven leadership in crewing, marine operations, or HR, ideally within offshore or maritime industries.
- Excellent knowledge of maritime regulations (e.g., IMCA, STCW, MLC 2006).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with global crewing operations and an ability to manage agency partnerships.
- Experience in crewing budget management and cost control.
